Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? South Coast Baptist College's Primary School is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Relief Teacher! In Term 2, 2024, our school will be bustling with 636 eager students from Kindergarten to Year 6, and we need a dynamic educator to provide support across Terms 2 to 4, 2024.

Position Requirements:

  • Suitable qualifications: Bachelor Qualifications with 4 years of training
  • Current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia
  • Possession of a valid Working with Children Card and relevant police clearance
  • Understanding of Biblical basis for Christian Education and College values
  • Active involvement in various dimensions of college life
  • Supportive and inclusive team member within Primary School staff
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Demonstrates organizational skills, creativity, and collaboration

Essential Criteria:

  • To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
  • To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
  • Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
  • Work to ensure personal best practice.
  • Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
  • Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
  • Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
  • First Aid certificate is desirable.
  • Working With Children Card.
