We are seeking a passionate and caring, Primary Teacher to join our Junior Campus team in a fixed term part time capacity (0.7FTE) until the end of Term 4 2024, possibility of ongoing work for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and nurturing the academic and personal growth of our students.
Applicants will have:
- a passion for education,
- tertiary qualifications in Education,
- current registration with the Tasmanian Teacher’s Registration Board, or be eligible for registration,
- an interest in Maths and Science is desirable
- a commitment to supporting the wellbeing of children.
- current registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania) or be eligible for registration.
- sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum as it relates to the teaching of Primary Education,
- previous experience teaching within a Primary School environment is preferred,
- previous experience in an IB Primary Years Programme school will be highly regarded,
- demonstrated high level communication skills,
- confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning,
