Join our dynamic team as a Principal Analyst, People Analytics, where you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions about our workforce. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting workforce data to provide actionable insights to our Human Resources Division and the broader University. What can I expect to be doing in the role?
Providing data and analytical support for key workforce initiatives and activities.
Developing and maintaining Scorecards and Discovery Boards for workforce metrics.
Gathering and transforming workforce data to create comprehensive employee datasets.
Collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver various workforce reporting products.
Addressing ad hoc inquiries and questions related to the workforce including supporting with preparing statutory reporting datasets
Assisting with the operational tasks of the People Analytics and Insights team.
Participating in knowledge sharing and contributing to the team's overall growth and success.
Advising on and enabling self-service capabilities for data sourcing and analysis.
Evaluating and reporting on the quality of workforce data, while supporting broader data governance initiatives across the University.
What can I bring to the role?
Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in HR, BA or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
Demonstrated experience in a data analytics role, preferably within HR or People Analytics supporting with statistical analysis, data visualisation, and predictive modelling.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to conceptualise, establish and implement initiatives and solutions within a specified framework.
The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and train others in the use of technology.
Experience with Workday would be highly regarded
What is in it for me?
This is a full-time, permanent position at HEW Level 7.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $96,649 - $105,244 plus super of 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $113,080 - $123,136 per annum.
This role is based at our beautiful St Lucia campus with multiple food options, coffee spots, public transport access and salary sacrificed parking. We offer flexible working arrangements with hybrid working from the office and home.
