In this role, you will:
Manage the provision of Business Intelligence solutions that support business performance management and strategic decision-making by conducting thorough business requirements gathering and data analysis, translating these requirements into data models and Business Intelligence presentation designs, and applying these models and designs to create and deliver solutions.
• Lead projects to successfully implement and deliver Business Intelligence strategies and initiatives, ensuring that the goals of the organization are met effectively.
• Establish and maintain robust Business Intelligence frameworks to ensure information is delivered consistently, timely, and authoritatively, thereby enhancing the overall information management process.
• Support and maintain the Business Intelligence technical environment to meet the reporting and data analysis needs, ensuring the team's technical infrastructure is reliable and effective.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their capabilities and the overall Business Intelligence function, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Conduct data quality and integrity analysis of source systems, recommend options for improvement or mitigation of data quality issues, and stay abreast of current and emerging industry trends to support and enhance the Business Intelligence technical environment and solutions.
Experience you bring:
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL
• Competence in Python programming language, including expertise in libraries like Pandas, and Numpy
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI
• Expert data analysis skills and experience in adhering to best-practice data quality standards
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud technologies is considered advantageous.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications and an understanding of general insurance concepts are highly regarded.
