YOUR ROLE
The main objective of this position is to establish, sustain, and communicate IAG's Cloud Security Domain Architecture while overseeing its implementation. As part of this role, collaboration with IAG Leadership will be essential to devise and execute a future state cloud architecture for the Platform as a Service. The responsibilities encompass overseeing the architecture, design, development, testing, and operations of the platforms.
You will play a crucial role in crafting the data cloud reference architecture, integration patterns, collateral, and other reference assets. This collaborative effort will involve working closely with relevant stakeholders and specialists to ensure the establishment of a robust and sustainable data cloud environment. Additionally, the role involves providing consultation and fostering collaboration with diverse IT domain teams to align enterprise IT solutions and strategies with the overall IT strategy and Risk Policies of the organization.
This is a full-time, permanent role that is open to all major Cities in Australia and New Zealand and involves a hybrid work model.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Cloud Security Domain Architect with a background spanning various roles in Information Technology and Cloud domain, as well as the following expertise:
- 10+ Years – Experience in the technology and security space, with experience in a Security Domain Architect role, experience in domains such as Security solutions, Cloud with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments & technologies.
- Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualisation, and identity.
- Demonstrated currency of knowledge in the areas of technical infrastructure, application services and cloud environments.
- Dealing with a diverse range of complex matters and highly conceptual issues, to recommend practical solutions, often within limited timeframes.
- Translate technical and complex information in simple terms for a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Deep understanding, consideration, and the appropriate positioning of Security Architecture to the major structural elements such as Business Architecture, including its strategy, business model, capabilities and operating model that drives the business process and enabling application needs.
- Experience in teaching/educating/coaching/mentoring stakeholders to reinforce a mentality of continuous process improvement.
