• Managing security operations for major events across Australia and other jurisdictions.
• Analyses and implements improvements to security related systems, processes, and resources to enable compliance and optimise security outcomes.
• Provides specialist/functional expertise to leadership on security related management systems, processes, practices and controls to embed measures that create a security conscious culture across BHP,
• Manages, improves and provides expertise on security management practices to improve organisational security outcomes and performance.
• Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives.
• Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
• Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
• Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.
• Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.
• Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
• Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in leading design and implementation of large scale programs
• Experience operating in challenging environments
• Academic qualifications in security related field
• Experience with managing security operations for major events
• Operational experience to lead, train and direct others.
