Address Proserpine Hospital is comprised of 33 beds, including day surgery, acute inpatients unit and a community health centre at Cannonvale, and provides the following health services which include:
Acute inpatient care, including 4 monitored inpatient beds;
Accident and emergency;
Community and primary healthcare;
Mental Health;
Dental;
Palliative care;
Outreach specialists from Mackay;
Surgical services - onsite GP Endoscopist, and visiting surgical specialists;
Day Surgery Unit;
Maternity Services, with both medical and midwife led models;
Acute beds occupied by long-term nursing home residents, due to lack of available beds in the community;
Community Health workers;
Allied Health including physiotherapy, dietician, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, cardiac rehabilitation.
Salary Benefits
Remuneration value up to $167,346 p.a. comprising salary between $4,822.20 p.f. - $5,591.00 p.f. (L4-L9), or Remuneration value up to $157,959 p.a. comprising salary between $4,822.20 p.f. - $5,101.50 p.f. (L4-L7).
