Have a meaningful impact as a Principal, HR Business Partnering

YOUR ROLE

Joining P&C's Business Partnering team, supporting our Technology & Operations (T&O) division you will manage end to end processes from creation to implementation of the divisional people plans aligned to the Group People Strategy. You will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to drive the business people plans, linking critical program deliverables with the annual calendar of people activities as T&O adapt to a constantly changing business landscape, ensuring we remain competitive in the future. You will provide trusted advice and executive coaching as you engage T&O and people and culture teams.

Additionally, you will partner with P&C stakeholder teams to manage, continuously improve, and deploy the Group's organisational change process in order to optimise the people experience and ensure commercial goals are achieved.

You will leverage your proven experience across technical HR topics, project and process management, executive coaching and strategy to build capability to support the business. You will be collaborative, and customer focused with a demonstrated ability to think commercially and influence at all levels. A key challenge in this role will be your ability to balance expert advice to Executive leaders to influence and inform decision making while engaging a broad stakeholder group and manage complexity in a large matrix environment.

This role is a full-time permanent role based in Sydney or Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5-10 years of experience working in either Human Resources or people leadership in complex enterprise environments
  • Effective P&C strategic partnering with Executive & Senior Leader teams
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and link strategic goals with operational decisions
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity, engage broadly and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders within IAG and externally to understand developing trends and best practice while translating to practical application.
  • An energetic, commercial and pragmatic approach to profitable growth and sustainability of the business.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - degree in business or human resources
