Principal Hydraulic Engineer

CGC are working with a leading engineering firm, specialising in building services. Our client is seeking a talented and driven Principal or talented Senior Hydraulic Engineer with a minimum of 8 years' experience to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your career, with the potential to progress to a director.

The role - Principal Hydraulic Engineer 
You will be responsible for the design and overseeing the delivery of complex hydraulic systems on commercial, residential, mixed-use high-rise, and healthcare projects across WA, QLD and NSW, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

Reporting to the board of Directors you will lead from the front, getting involved in, and taking the lead on numerous projects. This is a key role within their business and you will be the main point of contact for clients within WA and the business sector for Hydraulic Design. Opportunities will be won and handed to you, however you will also take the lead on winning new work and developing existing client relationships.

Key Requirements:

• MUST have a tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of consultancy experience with a strong background in building services hydraulic design.
• Solid understanding of local knowledge in Western Australia
• You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead a team from the front
• Must have valid Australian working rights to apply
