Job description

An exciting, temporary opportunity has become available for a Principal of Calamvale Community College, commencing 29 July 2024 until 13 December 2024, unless otherwise determined.

As the Principal of Calamvale Community College, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools.

The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

Our broad cultural diversity brings a very substantial capability and opportunity for language, be it bilingualism or multilingualism amongst our students and the wider community.  We are a state school of 2500 students Prep to Year 12 offering IB PYP and Diploma programs but with MYP candidacy, we hope to be an IB Continuum School by the end of 2023.  We have one of the highest levels of enrolments of international students choosing to study with at our College from across Asia.

  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
