Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal to join the team at Andergrove State School on a permanent full-time basis. We are seeking an innovative and passionate Principal to be a part of our school community. The successful applicant will be committed to developing the quality of teaching and learning, improving the educational outcomes of all students and nurturing positive relationships between students, teaching, community and stakeholders.

About Andergrove State School:

Andergrove State School has a proud record of working with parents to meet the educational needs of our students. The school's curriculum goal is ‘Linking Learning to Life', focusing on the essential learning environments required for all students. Andergrove State School is located on the northside of Mackay. Facilities include a fully equipped STEM and computer rooms with pods of ipads. All classrooms are air-conditioned with wireless connectivity. The school has a well-resourced library and spacious shady playgrounds and play equipment. The school has strong community links with an active P&C, partnerships with local primary and high schools as well as kindy providers.
