- Undertake and/or coordinate complex work and major statewide projects relevant to the Child Health and Parenting Service.
- Scrutinise, research, investigate and analyse proposals and other issues of relevance to the Nursing Director and provide high level advice, develop proposals and options, and put forward recommendations.
- Provide high level advice and assistance to the Nursing Director and other senior staff in relation to the Office of the CHaPS Director and the efficient and effective discharge of the Nursing Director's functions.
- Provide high level strategic advice and support to the Nursing Director on diverse and complex issues and nominated projects and priorities.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks and supporting policies and procedures to manage the Nursing Director's obligations, including delegations, authorisations, appointments, and approvals, in consultation with the Department of Health (DoH) Legal Services Unit.
- Represent the Nursing Director across a range of forums in complex and often sensitive negotiations as required.

This role will support progression of a number of key strategic priorities for Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS). The position offers the opportunity for the successful applicant to provide high level advice and assistance directly to the Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) Nursing Director working across a Statewide portfolio and is commencing during an exciting period of change for the service.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 18 months.

- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $124,371 to $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
