About the role:The
Principal Policy Adviser,
Bed Based and Statewide Programs works within a team ensuring that appropriate systems, processes and procedures are in place for developing, managing and continuously improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorians.The
Principal Policy Adviser leads and drive the work related to the design and planning of the recommendations of the Royal Commission relating to
Bed Based and Statewide services in Victoria's mental health system.The role forms part of the leadership group for the unit and would suit someone looking to contribute to the ongoing reform work of Victoria's mental health and wellbeing system following the Final Report of the Royal Commission.

They will b required to maintain an understanding of Commonwealth and State legislative and policy reform directions to influence policy development.Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy, project management and/or public health is desirable.
