The Principal Practitioner - Family Violence will set and provide advice on Family Violence practice across the organisation to enhance practice, knowledge, and leadership, promoting evidence-based policy, practice, and workforce professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career as a Family Violence specialist, working with a leading local not-for-profit service based in Mildura.
Key duties:
- Initiate and lead Family Violence practice development within the organisation.
- Provide practice leadership based on sound practice expertise and contemporary research that delivers positive outcomes for those affected by Family Violence.
- Promote workforce capability development strategies across the organisation.
- Establish professional practice and service delivery standards that embed collaborative, person centred approaches to decision making and reflective practice.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders across the Family Violence system.
- Meet mandatory minimum qualification requirements under Recommendation 209 (
- Knowledge of legislative, policy, and practice requirements relating to Family Violence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative leadership skills with an ability to self-reflect and support target audiences as they need.
