• Considerable knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs, and software technologies
• Working knowledge of large and small water utility operations.
• Experience with the commissioning and integration of OT assets as applied to utilities or similar industries.

What the role will involve

• Lead the review and development of control systems, programming, and automation standards.
• Manage and lead the governance and maintain the Control Systems Blueprint elements (including standards, specifications, drawings, processes, and systems) to reflect approved modifications.
• Working with various vendors and stakeholders to help define and deliver Control Systems aligned with the Operational Technology Strategy.
• Provide leading control system engineering technical expertise to assist with Site/Asset and functional managed projects that are associated with Control Systems.
• Apply OT engineering expertise to the scoping, designing constructing, commissioning, and transferal of metro and regional OT assets.
• Support the monitoring, control, review and forecasting of projects outcomes including time, cost and quality.
• Proactively contribute expertise in design and delivery engagement with regional management and asset delivery representatives.
• Provide expert advice to regional stakeholders on engineering matters.
