Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to join our team in Melbourne on a 12 month contract. Reporting into the Lead Process Engineer, this role will provide Process Engineering support as part of proficiently developing safe process plant designs and providing subject matter expertise for EPC projects. Suitably qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognised institution, ideally you will have relevant experience in safety engineering for petroleum production / processing facilities within Australia and preferably on brownfields projects
At least 12 years’ experience in formal safety assessment studies, risk-based decision-making and the design/specification of safety critical equipment and systems Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context Risk Facilitator skills for HAZOP or LOPA/SIL workshops highly desirable Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people at all levels of the organisation Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to…
