In this role you will be responsible for managing procurement processes for QCS. This role will work closely with QCS business units to provide best practice Procurement and Contracts management. The essential requirements for this role are as follows:
- Extensive experience undertaking Procurement and contract management within a public sector context.
- Demonstrated high-level experience in the development and delivery of sourcing and procurement strategies and in implementing effective systems and processes that support delivery of strategic business objectives and priorities.
- Strong understanding of the Queensland Government Procurement Policy and associated Procurement and contract management frameworks, guides, and procedures.
- Extensive experience developing, administering, and managing contracts.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of legislation, codes of practice, policies and procedures and the interpretation and application of contract law.
