Principal Procurement & Contracts Officer - Corporate Goods & Services

Manage and lead the Corporate Goods and services procurement function across Metro North Health in commercial matters relating to sourcing, the establishment and management of contracts and supplier management.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to manage and lead the Corporate Goods and services procurement function across Metro North Health in commercial matters relating to sourcing, the establishment and management of contracts and supplier management.

The Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer, Corporate Goods and Services is required to provide a cost effective, risk managed, customer service focussed function to Metro North Health in conjunction with the Director, Commercial Activities. 

The role will be responsible for managing procurement processes relating to day-to-day procurement as well as establishing standing offer arrangements and panel arrangements, with a view towards maximising efficiencies in both process and cost for Metro North Health and supporting the development of best practice in strategic sourcing, expenditure analysis procurement and supply chain strategies that optimise the value for Queensland Health from the vendor market.
