The Role:
The Aviation Capability Group is experiencing significant growth and to due to this growth, we are seeking an experienced Vendor and Contract Management Officer in Brisbane. The successful applicant will be responsible for advising customers on contract related issues, managing vendor contracts and agreements, and assisting with the management and monitoring of procurement outcomes. You will use your skills and experience to develop professional and effective relationships with vendors and will prepare reports and documentation concerning acquisition and Contract Management issues.
Permanent position based in Brisbane.
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
• Provide advice to customers on contract related issues.
• Manage Vendor contracts and agreements, including regular monitoring and reporting of supplier performance and effectiveness of agreements.
• Develop and maintain close, professional relationships with key vendors to ensure continued high-level service to customers.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of procurement outcomes and branch priorities.
• Maintain a sound knowledge of contemporary Contract Management and procurement practices, policies and initiatives.
• Prepare briefs, reports and correspondence on a range of acquisition and Contract Management related issues as required.
Highly desirable:
• Experience in SAP highly desirable
Desirable:
• Qualification in procurement (e.g., Procurement Certification Program - Level 2: Intermediate Procurement or equivalent) desirable but not essential
Special Conditions
• In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
