The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Manage the Capital Assets and Facilities Management Group (CAFMG) financial services function including the delivery of financial planning, budgets and business analysis.
- Lead, participate, guide and influence the development and continual improvement of financial management standards and practices.
- Research and preparation of quality reports, budget submissions, correspondence, and briefing notes for management on financial managementissues and impacts.
- Contribute to a range of diverse activities and projects to provide advice on policies and processes concerning capital expenditure and recurrent funding, planning, forecasting and Budget preparation and management.
- Implement appropriate governance and risk frameworks, reporting and performance measures to track, monitor and report on identified project milestones.
- Oversee budget management and reporting for the capital works program, to ensure program deliverables are achieved
- Provide expert advice to partner agencies and internal and external stakeholders.
