About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Provide accurate advice related to international student welfare to school principals and the Director, International Student Programs.
- Deliver quality outcomes in the pursuit of enhancing the student experience and student safety, for example Water Skill events, 1800 QSTUDY and Holiday Adventure Programs.
- Form meaningful and purposeful relationships with school staff and provide program improvement recommendations to principals of Queensland State Schools.
- Operationalise the policy and procedure framework of International Student Program, including compliance, accreditation, training, monitoring and governance activities.
- Led activities required to ensure successful outcomes and compliance with all legislative requirements set by the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and to support the Education General Provisions Act (2006).
- Undertake and manage project implementation plans comprising work breakdown structures including estimates of resources needed, time required and completion dates.
- Contribute to the management of communications, agreements and performance monitoring of all strategic alliances with schools, agency networks, relevant. organisations and other education sectors domestically and internationally to ensure the appropriate growth and development of programs for DE International.
- Review and design strategies to schools including training, communication, performance, Annual implementation planning and policy reviews.
