Access theAbout us:The Finance, Assets and Commercial Services directorate comprises the functions of finance, business decision support and analysis, capital projects, asset management and utilisation, information, and Information Communication Technology (ICT), legal risk management and support functions such as travel, accommodation, and security services.About the role:As the Principal Project Officer, you will work closely with the Director – Project Management Office to provide project management expertise and support for the successful delivery of complex, high-risk multi-disciplinary projects in Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, with a focus on supporting complex projects/programs in the Gladstone & Rural Region.
- Undertake all aspects of project management including scope, time, cost, procurement, quality, risk human resource and communication management in line with endorsed project management frameworks.
- Provide leadership, advice and develop close and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders on key project issues through regular liaison and communication.
- Prepare, maintain, and disseminate high quality project information and plans, throughout the project lifecycle by producing plans, options analyses, status reports, issue logs and completion reports.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and the application of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to achieve fit for purpose outcomes on time, within scope, budget, and in accordance with quality management principle.
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes and manage competing work priorities to meet agreed deadlines and commitments.
- Demonstrated strategic, conceptual, analytical, and innovative skills in planning, implementation and management of complex projects and programs.
- An hourly rate between $66.60 - $71.48 p.h.
