- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction within multidisciplinary teams in the promotion of a service improvement culture through the application of advanced knowledge and skills within an evidence-based learning environment.
- Provide policy and strategic advice to the Nursing Director, and other stakeholders as required to inform decision making and governance direction to achieve stream deliverables with minimal slippage.
- Apply advanced knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, change and project management.
- Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve expectations of Metro North Health Surgery and Intensive Care Stream.
- Lead, design, implement and evaluate all elements and deliverables of projects in consultation stakeholders, including the Executive Director and Nursing Director of the Stream and associated programs and facility departments across Metro North.
