We have an exciting role based in our Sydney Office to join the Supplier Assurance team in our Identity and Cyber Security department.
You will bring your cyber security expertise to the Supplier Assurance team, working with a broad range of stakeholders across Macquarie to manage the third-party suppliers' cyber security risk function in accordance with the Macquarie's Supplier Governance and Information Security framework.
The role will require you to proactively drive the risk culture by providing the business with outcome-focused supplier cyber security advice to assist them to achieve business objectives within the organisation's risk appetite.
In this role, your responsibilities include
- Review the technical infrastructure or application designs to ensure the onboarding/ integration of supplier's managed systems are aligned to security best practices
- Develop security-related integration architectures/designs for applications and infrastructure (including public cloud)
- Work with the broader architectural team to align the supplier assurance function to the enterprise architectural vision and strategic direction.
- Develop reusable architectural patterns which are aligned to the enterprise security architecture requirements for the integration of supplier systems.
- Provide security advice and assist them in understanding the severity of the security risks and the remediation activities that could follow.
- Review Macquarie's security capabilities and provide recommendations, work with stakeholders to uplift our security capability landscape.
- 5+ years' experience in Cyber Security technical design and architecture roles
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk, security concepts and risk management frameworks
- Current or previous experience in translating security requirement to pragmatic security solution
- Experience working with large enterprise cloud infrastructure and greenfield projects.
- Experience with identity access management, vulnerability management, and application development is desirable
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity and exposure to regulatory requirements, the evolving threat landscape, and industry standard frameworks including but not limited to: CPS 234, NIST, COBIT, and ISO27001 are beneficial.
- Industry recognized certifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, SANS certification, and cloud platform certifications are highly desirable
