The Role: Principal + Senior Electrical Engineers
  
Our Clients Mining unit covers the entire mining lifecycle, from exploration and resource assessment to mine planning, design, infrastructure, processing, project execution, sustaining operations, and closure. Their capabilities extend from project inception at the pit to its culmination at the port.
  
Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as an integral part of a national, multi-disciplinary team, overseeing the management and delivery of a diverse range of mining and infrastructure projects.
• Generate top-tier technical documentation, ensuring precision and quality.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and specification requirements for Electrical components, facilitating the procurement and delivery of assigned projects.
• Undertake project management responsibilities, leveraging technical and commercial expertise with a dedicated focus on achieving successful outcomes for both projects and clients.
• Uphold high standards of personal integrity and exhibit a strong inclination for continuous professional development and improvement within the engineering domain.
• Provide support to the broader Mining team and other company teams nationally whenever opportunities arise.

Experience we are looking for:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrate a keen ability and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Possesses strong collaboration skills, fostering a team-player mentality.
• Display flexibility of thought, adapting to varying project scales with ease.
• Have relevant experience in mining and infrastructure or in transferable sectors such as Water or Energy.
• Demonstrate desirable leadership qualities.

Demonstrated Experience in:

• Designs for industrial LV reticulation and HV substations (preferable).
• Controls and instrumentation (preferable) design.
• Interpretation of schematic drawings.
• Proficient use of spreadsheets, PowerCad, and PTW (Preferable).

• Above-market salary and contract rates
• Location: Newcastle, Sydney or Brisbane.
• Option of Permanent work or 12-24 Month Contract with Potential for Extension
