Principal Software Engineer

BLACKROCSoftware Engineering are delighted to have partnered with global Tech company who are on the lookout for a Principal Engineer to join their Brisbane Office. They specialise in delivering critical information services and workflows utilised by clients across the globe to manage their processes, information, and regulatory requirements.

The Role:
  
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality IT systems that align with the company's long-term vision. This role is instrumental in supporting growth targets, sales plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of the company's IT Roadmap.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Technical challenges of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.
• Experience across a diverse range of technology tools and products, including C#, .NET, Kubernetes, Flux, GitOps, React, Angular, Flutter, eventing systems, and API Gateway.
• Closely with the Security/Operations team to uphold security, performance, and reliability standards.
• With product delivery teams to tackle design challenges, establish patterns, and uplift engineering maturity.
• An active engineering role, which includes hands-on coding, pair programming, and implementing collaborative solutions.
• Clear and comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design patterns, and data models.
