AddressNobul are looking for a Safety Officer who has experience in the manufacturing and construction industry.
What's on Offer:
- Salary $110K - $120K + Superannuation
- Full Time - 38 Hour Week
- Travel involved after the first 6-8 months
- Reporting to HR Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Lead support and training in the implementation and adherence of Safety Systems
- Conduct investigations into injuries, near misses, and hazards
- Communicate incidents to safe work QLD.
- Ensure compliance with attendance to Safety & WHS meetings.
- Participate in internal, external, and stakeholder audits
- Conduct risk assessments for all plant and machinery
- Lead safety training, checks, toolbox talks, and meetings
- Ensure all contractors undertake site safety inductions
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of current WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Experience as a Workplace, Health and Safety Officer or similar.
- Tertiary qualification in Work, Health and Safety or another complementary area.
- Knowledge of manufacturing hazards within a mining and construction environment
- Can work independently, as well as part of a team.
