Due to significant growth over recent years and expanding manufacturing capabilities Mayday Blue is recruiting a Print Manager to oversee a team of production specialists across 3 shifts.

The role:
- Monitor production progress to ensure projects are completed to specification and within budget
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality of materials
- Participate in pre-production planning, including file preparation, pre-press, and proofing
- Deliver production schedules, including print runs, finishing, and delivery to warehouse
- Ensure accuracy of final product, including colour, text, and graphics
- Monitor key production performance metrics and provide feedback to production team
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Manage a team of print production specialists, providing leadership, guidance and support
- Support Lean Manufacturing methods and identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement
The Requirements:
- Trade qualification in Flexographic Printing
- Advanced knowledge of printing technologies and processes.
- Previous experience managing small/mid-sized teams
- Understanding of quality standards and Health & Safety regulations
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Understanding of SAP or similar MRP systems
