ROLE MAY BE EITHER FULL-TIME or for the right applicant options exist for PART-TIME 2-5 afternoons per week.

This is a HANDS-ON CUSTOMER SERVICE & OPERATIONS role for an extremely reliable person with a mature & positive attitude who is good with people and has great organisational skills. You may also oversee/manage casual staff, now or in the future.
The role is a long term and stable one, working business hours Mon-Fri with 3 weeks off over Christmas/New Year plus additional Annual Leave available during the year. Role is based in our Brisbane CBD office.
The successful candidate will have at least some knowledge of and experience in the print industry in a graphic design and/or print production capacity (ideally digital print production).
Salary Package will be commensurate with hours worked and also with your experience level - much higher for the right person with extensive valid print industry experience and the right resumé & references.
The business has been operating for more than 21 years under current management. You will be trained by the current outgoing Business Manager, and you will be supported directly by the Business Owner.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
You are the first point of contact with our business for a large proportion of clients and potential clients - by phone, email and in person (sometimes all of these at once!). You must have a mature & positive attitude and be good with people – we want them ending every interaction with a smile and thinking positively about our business.
OPERATIONS
The role requires the ability to multi-task and great organisational skills. It involves the use of software such as Outlook, Excel & Acrobat.
Many tasks are systemised with established processes that must be followed carefully – others require a solutions focus and some creativity to complete.
We have a Business MIS platform that you will be trained to use to create quotes and manage workflow as quotes become jobs underway and then invoiced.
Handling cash & EFTPOS transactions, some very limited book-keeping requirements are part of the role as well but these can be trained.
You will also be monitoring inventory for our supplies, placing orders with our suppliers, requesting service calls on equipment, receiving and shipping items via our courier partners, as well as some business reporting.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
You will work closely alongside the Business Owner to grow the business by focusing on client retention/development/attraction, assisting with marketing, developing & improving business systems & processes, and potentially the eventual recruitment/training/management of additional team members.
Your ideas will be valued.
Depending on your performance, experience & attitude - following your successful completion of a Trial Period there may be scope for additional bonuses based on business performance.
