The Opportunity
In our ever-evolving industry, we offer a unique and rewarding opportunity for a highly competent Print/Graphics Operator at our modern facility in Slacks Creek. The Role
As the Print/Graphics Operator, you'll oversee all aspects of the print department and vinyl application. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Daily Operations: Managing the day-to-day running of the machine and print production department.
- Print Production: Handling all general printing operations and individual job setup.
- Pre-Press: Setting up job files using Adobe Illustrator and Corel.
- Job Processing: Utilizing EFI "Fiery" RIP software.
- Machine Operation: Operating Gerber & Mimaki machines.
- Stock Maintenance: Keeping track of ink and other consumables.
- Time Management: Organizing and managing job production timelines.
- Quality Control: Ensuring quality across all areas of the printing department.
About You
We’re looking for a Print/Graphics Operator who thrives on challenges and isn't afraid to take on a demanding role. If you think you have what it takes, prove it:
- Experience: Previous experience in large format digital printing is preferred, but we know true talent often breaks the mold.
- Skills: Must be proficient in laying vinyl and have a good understanding of UV direct-to-surface printing operations. Are you up for it?
- Pre-Press Expertise: Able to set up job files using Adobe Illustrator and Corel. Only the best need apply.
- Software Knowledge: Familiar with EFI “Fiery” RIP software. If you know it, show us.
- Multi-tasking: Capable of managing multiple tasks, including record-keeping of processes. Think you can handle it?
- Signage Industry Experience: While not essential, experience in the signage industry is a plus. Can you bring something extra?
- Design Skills: Design skills are beneficial but not required. If you've got them, flaunt them.
