The role:
As a Privacy Officer, you will be employed on a Part-Time basis playing a crucial role in supporting the Practice Quality Assurance Coordinator - Governance. Your responsibilities will include the administration and coordination of organisational responses to privacy matters and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions and remedies in response to identified immediate risks. Collaboration with the Quality and Continuous Improvement Team will be integral to your success in this role.
Key Duties:
- Resource and support the implementation of Centacare’s Practice Governance Framework.
- Support the administration and coordination of organizational responses to privacy matters and governance activities.
- Ensure the administration and coordination of corrective actions and remedies in response to identified immediate risks.
- Identify and report privacy matters, systemic trends, and issues to the Head of Governance, Quality & Continuous Improvement.
- Support and resource the learning and development team in the development and implementation of privacy training.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in privacy or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain an NDIS workers screening card and working with children check.
- Ability to obtain and pass a police check.
