The opportunity

We have a brand new opportunity to join the Business Optimisation team as a Process Architect/Business Optimisation Manager, to support the AUSPAC Modernisation.

This is a critical Process Governance role supporting our AUSPAC Modernisation within the Business Optimisation Team. You will lead projects/initiatives by demonstrating our QBE values and core capabilities on process re-engineering, continuous improvement and process governance. As part of your role, you will work closely with and influence project stakeholders on process simplification, through practical understanding of our framework.

Your new role

As a Process Architect/Business Optimisation Manager, you will work across Process Governance, with an initial focus on replacing the policy administration system in Modernisation and look at any architecture that is missing from the repository in Signavio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your hands-on experience with Signavio to develop, design, and optimise end-to-end business processes.
  • Creating detailed process blueprints and maintaining overall architecture, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.
  • Undertake a structured approach to process improvement to enable better customer and business outcomes, improving efficiency and creating an improved customer experience
  • Discover, analyse, measure and document current and future state processes to understand root causes of issues
  • Initiate, facilitate and recommend improvements, creatively solving problems and considering innovative solutions
  • Actively working with employees, leaders, customers and other stakeholders to understand, measure, implement and change processes, roles and operations
  • Ensuring data-driven recommendations analysing customer and operational data, and measure the impact of recommended changes
About you

To be successful in this role you will come from a similar role, ideally from Insurance, Banking, Consultancy or Financial Services. Previous experience in Process Architecture and Governance are essential, along with a strong working knowledge of Signavio. You will also have:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Signavio, preferably within a large enterprise and/or transformation program
  • Demonstrated expertise in Process Architecture, with a track record of designing and optimising business processes
  • Demonstrated experience in leading commercial business optimisation initiatives/projects
  • Advanced knowledge of business transformation principles and improvement methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge and applied Lean & Six Sigma and Optimisation experience preferred
  • Solid experience in the development of objectives, strategies and plans to improve customer satisfaction
  • Proven experience in a Business Improvement role leading and managing Business Improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to business process re-engineering, CI Culture build-out, commercial analysis, and developing & executing business transformation
