About the Role
coNEXA is experiencing considerable growth in its engineering and projects team, both in the support of the coNEXA owned assets and in supporting our traditional client base in design and delivery of their water project solutions. To support this growth coNEXA is seeking to employ an experienced Process Design Leader within the Engineering and Projects team. The primary focus of this role is to lead the Process Design team within the coNEXA engineering department.
The preferred location for the role is Melbourne, however to accommodate the right candidate, the role could be based in Newcastle, Adelaide, Sydney or Perth.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with the relevant Engineering experience/exposure,
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in water, wastewater or recycled water, infrastructure design and construction.
- Experience with preparation of Process Designs and overseeing the optimization of the process engineering function, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practice.
- Experience in completing detailed reviews of engineering deliverables and providing guidance on improvements where applicable.
- Reputation as a team player in leadership and support roles, maintaining a safe, supportive and professional work environment.
- Thrive in solving complex engineering problems and have a track record of delivering high quality solutions on time and on budget.
- Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks,
- Excellent time and priority management skills,
- A strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
