What you will be doing
As a Maintenance Technician with Newmont, you will be required to monitor and maintain equipment in a large, fixed plant process mining environment to ensure we achieve safe milling production targets.
The major components of the process plant are listed below, and all Process Maintenance Plant personnel are required to maintain and assist in these areas as required.
- Conveyors
- Feeders
- Primary & Secondary Crushing
- High Pressure Grinding Rolls
- Screening
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Mechanical or Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- Post trade experience in a large fixed plant environment
- Computer skills and exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred)
- High Risk Licences: forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred)
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (preferred)
- Current "C" class manual drivers licence.
