Karora Resources is a gold and nickel producer in WA. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we currently operate the Beta Hunt underground mine in Kambalda and the Higginsville Gold Operations, which includes a 1.6 Mtpa mill and processing plant, near Norseman in the Goldfields region of Western Australia and the recently acquired 1.0Mtpa Lakewood Mill in Kalgoorlie.
WE ARE GROWING and you can’t slow us down! Due to ongoing expansion at our Lakewood Operations are looking for an experienced and safety conscious Operator to join the team.

THE OPPORTUNITY
- Operation of all processing plant equipment relating to: Milling, Gravity CIL, Elution and TSF
- Operate the forklift, EWP, IT, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner
- Operate process control systems using CITECT
- Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
- Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant
- Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
ABOUT YOU
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- Minimum 2 years experience in Gold Processing Plants
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable)
- Confined Space Ticket (desirable)
- Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
- Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
- Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
