Candidate Profile
- You have a civil engineering degree (or equivalent) and 6 years' experience in engineering, process engineering and process risk analysis.
- You will be rigorous and methodical, with good summarizing and writing skills.
- Your ability to work cross-functionally and to make proposals will be essential qualities for this position.
- You are fluent in French and English.
Activities
- Developing control over Process Safety by seeking solutions that are technically and economically acceptable to the site and relevant to the competent authorities.
- Identifying and assessing the degree of control of scenarios likely to lead to critical events by evaluating their tolerability and the reliability of the available safety barriers.
- Supervising the risk analyses carried out on the site, ensuring that they are representative and consistent both methodologically and in terms of the tolerability criteria for the risks identified.
- Monitoring and interpreting regulatory texts relating to technological risks to ensure compliance with the resulting obligations.
- Continuously analysing best practice in the industry and external studies of major risks in order to summarize the conclusions and assess their relevance, taking into account the specific characteristics of the site.

As part of the Refining & Chemicals division, the TotalEnergies Feluy plant is looking for a:
Process Safety Engineer (M/F/X)
to report directly to the HSEIQ Manager.
By identifying major accident scenarios and defining the safety barriers required to ensure control of the site's activities, you will help to ensure the safety of people and installations while strengthening the credibility of TotalEnergies Petrochemicals Feluy and the TotalEnergies company in dealings with the relevant authorities.
