Our client is a leading innovator and global leader in metal coating and painting products for building and construction industries. With major expansion underway, they are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Trade qualified Electricians to join their team at their Erskine Park facility.
Job Description
As part of the team in this already well-established operation, your role will be critical in supporting production, within a continuous manufacturing environment, through preventive maintenance and breakdown support. Successful candidates will need to be better than average communicators and genuine team players!
Key Responsibilities
- Isolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machines
- Inspecting equipment, identifying faults and taking necessary actions to repair
- PLC fault finding and PLC programming, utilising systems like Siemens S7, TIA and SCADA
- Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgency
- Planning and coordinating shutdowns for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Deliver continuous improvement outcomes by improving and operating the line.
- Trade qualification in Electrotechnology
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing or similar environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Driver licence and reliable transport
- Unrestricted working rights in Austral
