Who are we?
Liontown Resources (ASX: LTR) is an ASX 200 company, with a focus on battery minerals. We aim to be an ESG leader in the resources sector and a globally significant provider of battery minerals for the rapidly growing clean energy market. We will do this by finding, developing and supplying the battery minerals required by the rapidly growing electric vehicle and energy storage industries.
We control two major lithium deposits in Western Australia and have ambition to grow our portfolio through downstream expansion and exploration acquisitions.
Our Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in Western Australia is a Tier-1 battery metals asset with grade and scale. It is one of the largest and highest-grade hard rock lithium deposits in the world and is at the forefront of Liontown's low-carbon future. It is one of the few lithium projects globally in construction today with first production targeted for mid-2024.

Why Liontown
Our purpose is to find and develop lithium and other mineral deposits required to support the transition to a low-carbon future. The minerals we will mine are key to the electric vehicle and energy storage industries that will contribute to a low-carbon future.
We aim to be a globally significant ESG leader and provider of battery minerals for the rapidly growing clean energy market. We partner with customers and suppliers who can demonstrate their ESG credentials.
The materials we produce are a critical input to global decarbonisation efforts and it is our responsibility to produce them with the lowest possible carbon footprint and manage the environmental impact at every stage. For this reason, at our Kathleen Valley operation, we have made a significant upfront capital investment via our energy partner, Zenith Energy, to ensure that at least 60% of our start-up energy requirements will come from renewable energy, from what is currently expected to be the largest off-grid wind-solar-battery storage hybrid power station for a mining project in Australia.
As the world transitions to a low-carbon future, we aim to be part of the solution, not contribute to the problem.
