About The Role
MinRes is a globally significant lithium producer with world-class assets. These include two of the world's largest hard-rock lithium mines, Mt Marion and Wodgina, as well as the recently acquired Bald Hill operation.
Reporting to the Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) Superintendent and working an 8:6 roster, you will oversee the servicing and maintenance of NPI at our Mt Marion mine in Western Australia. In this capacity, you will manage a variety of trades personnel, including Plumbers, Carpenters, Refrigeration Technicians, Electricians, and contractors.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing all personnel, including contractors, ensuring everyone is trained and held accountable for their work.
- Ensuring all servicing and maintenance work is performed in accordance with relevant systems, processes, and statutory obligations.
- Reviewing work execution with team members, identifying gaps, and taking corrective action as necessary to improve performance.
- Providing input into the development of maintenance work strategies.
- Participating in weekly pre-planning, planning, and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment with the work schedule.
- Organising action registers to address safety and management issues highlighted in daily reports and inspections (e.g. hazard reports).
What You'll Bring to The Team
You will have an electrical maintenance background, including previous team leadership experience as a supervisor.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Exposure to the servicing and maintenance of NPI.
- Current A Grade Electrical Worker's Licence (WA).
- Eligibility to be appointed as an In-house Electrical Nominee.
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor certificate (or Section 44).
- Senior First Aid accreditation.
- C Class Driver's Licence.
