Job description
Our client is a leading company in the food service sector. They are currently looking for 60 Process Workers to work in their facility based in Forth, Tasmania, with work starting from November 2024 onwards.
In this role you will be based outside, and will be required to work in all weather conditions. You will be working in a cold, wet and hot environment, depending on the weather, so you must be prepared for everything. You need to be physically fit – you will be required to bend over all day and walk on uneven and sometimes steep terrain.
You will be paid under the Agri Labour Australia Horticulture Agreement 2016 – Level 1 at an hourly rate of $28.26 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered a 9-month contract with an average minimum of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Harvesting and inspecting produce in the fields
• Manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Cutting broccoli
