Jack Murat Coffee is seeking a Process Manager to oversee the end-to-end coffee processing operations, from coffee cherry to the final finished green bean. Reporting to the Farm Manager, this pivotal role encompasses strict oversight of the entire coffee processing chain, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Process Manager will have a strong attention to detail, proficiency in operating coffee processing equipment, a keen eye for system functionality and potential failures, and will be responsible for maintaining fastidious record-keeping and enforcing strict protocols. Additionally, this role involves providing support and guidance to the Dry Milling Operator and engaging in the maintenance and upkeep of the plantation outside of the harvest period.
Key Objectives of the Position:
- Ensure efficient and high-quality processing of coffee from cherry to green bean.
- Maintain and enhance system functionality and processing efficiency.
- Uphold strict processing protocols and record-keeping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire coffee processing operation, ensuring all stages from cherry to green bean are conducted efficiently and meet Jack Murat Coffee's quality standards.
- Operate and supervise the operation of coffee processing equipment, identifying and addressing any system failures or inefficiencies.
- Enforce strict processing and safety protocols, ensuring all team members are fully trained and compliant.
- Maintain detailed records of processing data, equipment maintenance schedules, and quality control results.
- Provide support and guidance to the Dry Milling Operator, ensuring seamless integration of processes and quality standards.
- Lead the maintenance and upkeep of the coffee plantation outside the harvest period, including irrigation systems, fertilization programs, and general repairs and maintenance tasks.

Duties:
- Supervise the end-to-end coffee processing, from cherry selection to drying and hulling, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Monitor and operate processing equipment, conducting regular checks and coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Implement and oversee strict quality control measures and processing protocols.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate off-season plantation maintenance, including irrigation, fertilization, and repairs, to ensure optimal coffee production conditions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of coffee processing techniques and equipment.
