As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our team at our head office in Adelaide (Ferryden Park) within our Supply Chain department. Schedule

Full-time 

A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

Salary (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

This role will be part of a newly developed framework for Supply Chain Management for LAI nationally.  The role will be focused on data quality and improvement across the ERP and database management system.  The role will support the day-to-day management of suppliers, order fulfillment, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives.  You will be part of a small team centered on process improvement and efficiency, designed to deliver greater profit and proactive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partake in supplier management initiatives including but not limited to:
    • Supplier qualification.
    • Supplier acknowledgment.
    • Supplier auditing.
  • Partake in Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the Supply Chain team with inventory management.
  • Partake in purchase order creation and management.

The Candidate

  • Strong understanding of computer software and usage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills at an immediate level.
  • 3 years experience in a supply chain admin role or similar.
  • Team player.
  • Background within the electrical industry (desired).
  • Has worked in the electrical industry (desired).
