ABOUT THE ROLE
As a consultant, you will undertake a range of procurement activities and be committed to delivering value for our clients. These activities may require you to:
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement (e.g., RFQ/RFT/RFx) activities including requirements gathering and definition, management of approach to market activities, tender preparation, evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Lead evaluations, assist in the development of appropriate sourcing strategies and identify contract risks for the client.
- Develop Contract Management Plans and the discharge of contract duties for both parties, including monitoring supplier performance against KPIs.
- Manage contract variations and contractor claims which may include negotiations between the Government stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage ICT procurements in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Have demonstrated experience dealing directly with ICT vendors and technology providers to obtain quotes and prepare appropriate documentation to enable timely procurement that meets customer requirements
- Maintain records in accordance with government and Group 10 policies
- Contribute to process and service improvement on an ongoing basis
To be successful you will have:
- Experience building strong productive working relationships in a client focused service delivery environment.
- A high-level attention to detail with able to manage multiple requests to tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and negotiation skills.
Please note: This role requires the successful candidate to be an Australian citizen with a current security clearance or the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance. Successful applicants may be requested to apply for a clearance at a higher level.
