Our client who is based in the south-eastern suburbs of Perth are an Australian manufacturer and supplier to the mining resources, maritime, rail and defence industries. Due to increased business growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team and assist in streamlining Supply Chain processes.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will see you managing the Procurement and inventory control functions through implementing strategic Supply Chain management strategies. The key focus with be finding cost effective, efficient and low risk solutions.
Your core responsibilities will be (however, not limited to):
- Conduct market analysis and assessments of new and existing suppliers
- Perform sourcing processes, negotiations, and implementation of activities.
- Assist with regular reporting and discussions surrounding procurement.
- Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management plans including reviewing current plans and performances.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders in relation to needs and commercial advice/support.
- Analysis and selection of vendors
- Financial budget management and reporting
Essential Skills and Experience
- Between 5 to 10 years of experience within a similar position, ideally within a WA Manufacturing business
- Knowledge of contract management and negotiations.
- Adaptability to challenging situations and high level of analytic and conceptual skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills along with professional written correspondence skills.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner.
