Your new role
You will be responsible for the delivery of procurement activities across supply and operations, to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of targets for each part of the business. You will be working with a small team of professionals that support the ANZ regions. This is a full-time permanent position based in the CBD with no direct reports and your duties will include but not be limited to;
- Implementation of effective procurement practices for the ANZ regions
- Procurement of goods/services, developing strategy, negotiate and implementing supply agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Prepare contracts, tenders and service level agreements (SLAs), with support of the legal team
- Monitor and manage the performance of suppliers and reviewing where appropriate
- Fulfil aligned global contracts when required
- Support the provision of updates for key procurement purchase decisions
- Ensure supply agreements/price schedules are updated and maintained
- Assist in setting budgets and targets with the Finance teams
- Support procurement processes and best practices across regions
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience gained within FMCG
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain functions
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- CIPS qualified (or working towards) - Highly desirable.
- You will be proactive and self-motivated to achieve targets
- It is essential to not only have strong experience with direct procurement functions but also indirect functions
