Your role

We are now recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain and Operations team.  In this role, you will be in charge of a variety of projects across SCO and other business units. You will work with Dry Goods and Indirect suppliers to build and maintain relationships as well as manage the existing portfolio. 

You will be based in our Adelaide offices, with flexibility to work from home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implement effective procurement practices within the Australian operations in order to meet business requirements 
• Manage and Coordinate Projects with the Supply Chain, Finance and other areas of the business for Continuous Improvement and Innovation 
• Manage the procurement of goods/services through strategy, negotiation and implementation 
• Improve systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service for Accolade Wines and its customers
• Prepare, with support of the Legal Team, contracts, tenders and SLA’s
• Monitor performance of suppliers and conduct supplier management reviews as appropriate
• Support and coordinate procurement with other regions.
• Fulfil aligned global contracts where applicable. 

What you’ll bring:

The ideal person will come from an internal Procurement background with a strong understanding of project management, nurturing stakeholder relationships and driving best business practice through costing and category management, including:

• Strong experience in an internal procurement and category role 
• Demonstrated experience gained within FMCG, procurement or supply chain
• Good leadership and coaching skills
• Strong project and time management skills
• Highly analytical with well developed problem solving skills
• Background in project design, implementation and management 
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)
