Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to ensure the best possible value for money and optimization of product categories.
- Source, identify, and qualify new strategic partnerships whilst maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure the most favorable terms and conditions.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, with a view to driving efficiency for the business.
- Manage product categories, ensuring a balanced and profitable product portfolio.
- Conduct market research to identify new product trends and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a procurement or a related field, ideally within the agricultural sector.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing contracts.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
