ABOUT THE ROLE
Start your new chapter for 2024 with Super Retail Group and play a pivotal role in maximizing the value of non-stock goods and services essential for achieving our business objectives. As a key member of the Group Procurement Team, you will work closely with various business units, collaborating to understand their unique needs and objectives.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering significant cost savings, optimizing spend, and effectively managing supply risk. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic procurement approach that directly impacts the success of Super Retail Group.
You will be responsible, and not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive category reviews, identify value opportunities, and develop strategic category plans.
- Managing end-to-end tender processes, from planning to award, with a focus on cost analysis and supplier performance.
- Overseeing contract management, including risk assessments, variations, and dispute resolution.
- Facilitating strategic supplier selection, develop and maintain supplier relationship management plans.
- Efficiently reporting on SRM progress and contribute to operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance, optimize spend, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Playing a key role in post-implementation reviews, contract closeouts, and CMS updates.
ABOUT YOU
As a seasoned Procurement Specialist, you bring a wealth of experience and a comprehensive skill set to drive results. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate strategic plans effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Your expertise extends to negotiation, supported by a proven track record of successfully navigating complex agreements.
You will bring over 2+ years' experience, specifically excelling in Category Planning, Contract Management, and Supplier Relationship Management. Your tenure in a large organisation has equipped you with the ability to navigate the intricacies of category planning, ensuring meticulous strategies align with organizational goals. Proficient in contract management, you have successfully overseen the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance and optimizing terms. Leveraging your technical category-specific experience, you will possess a nuanced understanding of industry intricacies, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
