Job description
Due to some exciting business growth, we are seeking a talented and data-driven Procurement Data Analyst to join our team at Osborne Park.
What you will do
In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills and passion for data to drive strategic decision-making. Utilising your effective engagement and communication skills, you will work closely with business partners at all levels to understand their data visualisation and solution needs, then source, analyse and transform their data into insights that drive business value.
You will be responsible for extracting actionable insights from vast amounts of Procurement Data, building forecasting and trend models, and developing informative Power BI reports and dashboards to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and maximise the value for our company.
Support the daily, and long-term strategic needs of the business by providing timely reporting and data support.
Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to procurement activities, including spend, contracts, suppliers, and performance metrics.
Analyse trends and identify risks and opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier performance, and optimised procurement processes.
Create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that visualise key Procurement Data and performance indicators, that support the procurement team to develop actionable strategies.
Work closely with the wider business on the development of tools and processes to drive data-driven decisions and predict future procurement needs.
Pivot between different initiatives quickly to support projects as needed while being able to work at a micro and macro level.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation, including procurement, finance, and senior management.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement and data analysis.

What you will bring
Knowledge and 2-3 years experience of relational database technology, specifically Microsoft SQL.
Mining Services experience desirable.
Dynamics 365 / Microsoft Dataverse desirable.
A high-level exposure to all elements of the MS BI Stack (particularly Power BI, Power Automate, Forms Pro, Power Apps and SharePoint).
Proven ability to identify strategic needs, leading to sound business recommendation.
Skills in presenting complex technical information and storytelling in a way that all stakeholders (peers, management) will understand.
Ability to clearly and concisely document the technical details of your work.
Detailed Power BI experience implementing, monitoring and maintaining solutions.
In-depth knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Azure data lake.
ITIL / Change Management understanding.
Solid understanding of data structures and ability to blend disparate data sources.
Experience using relational database systems, tables, schema, query tools for data interrogation, extraction and presentation.
Excellent process management and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a fluid, high pressure environment.
