In this newly created position, you will lead an Procurement Excellence team to embed and optimise a top line P2P/S2C solution across a complex organisation. This is a permanent, ongoing position where your focus will be on driving continuous excellence and efficiency across our business units. Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer as part of the senior leadership team in the function, you and your team will achieve success by establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external. Your combination of people skills and influence along with your precision, rigour and focus on governance will be keys to your successful outcomes. This role will also give you excellent exposure to procurement practices across our global organisation.

- Drive process improvements across the Procurement/Purchasing digital roadmap.
- Initiate and manage optimization, standardisation and digitization projects for our purchasing and sourcing activities, i.e. for SAP Ariba P2P and Ariba Sourcing (S2C).
- Procurement and purchasing compliance & ESG framework and policies & procedures in accordance with Veolia Group requirements
- Leadership to departmental support functions.
- Seven + years of relevant experience in Procurement/Support Services
- Ideally tertiary education (business, engineering, accounting, logistics)
- Experience with SAP Ariba procurement modules or analogous systems
- Demonstrated expertise in program management, business process improvements and procurement practices
- Experience in driving and implementing process improvements within decentralised and complex businesses
- High level of project management experience
